What to Expect at Your First Visit

Your first appointment is a chance for us to get to know you, understand your oral health goals, and create a personalized care plan. We’ll take time to explain each step and share recommendations that support your oral and overall health.

A typical new patient visit includes:

A full set of digital X-rays

Comprehensive dental exam and oral cancer screening

Periodontal (gum) health evaluation

Discussion of your dental and medical history

Time to ask questions
and discuss
next steps

If appropriate, a dental cleaning may also be completed during this visit.*

Insurance and
Payment Options

We accept all PPO dental insurance plans and help you make the most of your coverage. Our front desk team is experienced with major providers and can assist with pre-treatment estimates, claims, and documentation. If you have questions about your specific plan, feel free to call us at (713) 523-1666 before your visit. 



We also accept major credit and debit cards, Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and offer financing through third-party providers (details available upon request).

Membership Plan

For patients without dental insurance, we offer a convenient in-house membership plan designed to make preventive care more affordable. This plan includes cleanings, exams, and discounts on other services for a simple annual fee.

Forms and Office Policies

To save time during your first visit, we recommend completing your new patient forms in advance. These include your health history, consent forms, and insurance information. Our team can email the forms to you when you schedule your appointment, or you may arrive early to fill them out in person. We kindly ask that you:

  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first appointment
  • Bring a valid photo ID and your dental insurance card (if applicable)
  • Inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
