Meet Dr. Ifetayo Griffith
Dr. Ifetayo Griffith brings a unique blend of clinical excellence and compassionate care to every patient she sees. A native of Portland, Oregon, she earned her undergraduate degree from Xavier University in New Orleans and completed her dental education at Oregon Health Sciences University. Her early work in public health helped shape her holistic, prevention-focused approach to dentistry.
After relocating to Houston in the early 2000s, Dr. Griffith founded Griffith Dental Associates in 2004 with a vision to create a welcoming space where patients of all ages feel genuinely cared for. She’s known for her warm demeanor, thoughtful explanations, and commitment to patient education.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Griffith enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years as they prepare for the exciting transition to an empty nest. She treasures family moments and pursues hobbies that reflect her love for creativity and craftsmanship—such as quilting and admiring classic cars, especially those from the 1950s.
Dr. Griffith has a special interest in airway-focused dentistry and preventive care. She helps patients identify oral signs of airway restriction, sleep-disordered breathing, and TMJ dysfunction, using modern treatment options including laser therapy and oral appliance therapy when appropriate.
